I only OC mine when gaming. And since I've had Nvidia card burnt to its death in the past (8600GT..) I'm being conservative here, only doing 750/1375/1500. So far there's no problem at all. WEI increased from 7.1 to 7.2, temp never goes above 68℃, fps for most games improve by 2-3, no crashes or bsods ever.

I've also seen some ppl overclocking their 460m to something like 815/1500/1630 and running fine. Hope it helps.

    Great, thanks.

Do you think the extra FPS by overclocking is noticeable?

I haven't been playing really graphically demanding games lately (well for games like Torchlight and King's Bounty which runs at >60fps maxed out you won't notice any difference anyway). I also played The Witcher 2 which can be pushing the 460m a bit when running on 1920x1080 with high settings. (or 1366x768 when 3D is on) I think I can notice some slight improvements (maybe 3fps) during heavy combat scenes. I think the improvements are most noticable for games that are "barely playable" without OC.

Mine is set to be oc when windows starts. In older games like street fighter 4 I got extra 10 fps or so. In more recent games it's more around 5 fps gain. Running furmark for 30 mins before and after oc, temps went up 2C at peak.

I'm running a 800/1600/1450 and have had no problems at all.

I just downloaded the Crysis 2 DX11 and high res pack and before the OC it was barely playble at around 25-27 fps running DX11, at very high setting

After the OC it rarely dips below 30 :) Likes to stick around 35ish

I don't really have any other games that need the OC. I guess i'll just wait for BF3. It'll probably make my 460m burst into tears. :p
