Recently i was messing around in the bios of my M17x and noticed that you can overclock the voltage of the memory. It can be volted at 1.5, 1.6, and 1.7. What would be the advantage of increasing my voltage to 1.6 or 1.7? will there be any increases in performance.

There will not be any increase in performance. But because the core i7s overclock memory too, you need more voltage for better stability when increasing the BCLK. Especially using the 1333MHz RAM.

It can help when increasing the BCLK as that increases the memory speed too. You can only increase the BCLK with the 920XM from the bios. I do not recommend the memory dell provides, go for HyperX if you plan on using 1333.
