Hey guys, just a couple of hours ago my fans started to kick up and I wasn't even playing any games. I was just web surfin' so could you guys give me a list programs to monitor my heat? So far the only thing I have downloaded is GPU-Z and I'd like to have some more.

because i Have a nividia GPU i just use my Overclocking tool, MSI afterburner to keep an eye on it. Another program that is very usefull for monitoring hardware temps and such is HWinfo64.

Hm..yeah, I saw HWinfo64. Does that record CPU and GPU temps?

looks like you can log every single temp sensor on your computer
-
HWinfo will show the maximum (for the time that the software has been open), minimum and the current temperature of an sensor.
Have you cleaned your fans from dust, lately? Could be it.

does allot of warm air come out the vents while on full blast?
-
It's also a good idea to check the task manager and see if there anything that is consuming RAM or CPU.
Before opening the laptop just check everything that could make the CPU or GPUs do any "extra" work. Otherwise, even cleaning and re-pasting won't solve your problems -
Thanks for the help, but could you guys tell me safe zones regarding the temps??? What is too hot? Average? Thanks in advance.

Phew, for some reason I saw 128 and I was like "NOOOOO" but It was in Fahrenheit. Almost freaked out lol, but It doesn't pass 63 on most games.
PC monitor tools. Are my fans supposed to be on full blast?
