Im looking for some part numbers for M17X R2 please if anyone knows them .
Looking for the touchpad palm rest part number to make sure i get the correct one,
And also the ribbon cable connecting the palm rest to the motherboard part number .
As in my other post here http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m17x/659588-i7-940xm-installed-but.html .... my palmrest has died since putting in my new cpu .
Ive tried multiple times to reseat the cable but touchpad just seems dead .Did flicker the light on once but not since.
Now not sure if its the cable or the touchpad .. Ive tried uninstall and reinstall of the drivers and Fn 12 .. says touch pad is ON but the icon in task bar is missing as well .
Not sure wether to involve Dell as ive changed graphic cards and cpu since purchase and dont want to remove them and put back original cards and cpu or will the tech guy sent even notice

I believe it comes with it but you should check with Dell or the seller first, just in case ;)
