has anyone tried this drive in thier R3?
Newegg.com - Patriot Wildfire PW120GS25SSDR 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Patriot Wildfire PW120GS25SSDR 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
I know to stay away from the OCZ due to firmware issues....and looking at the intel 510, they seem to have slower speeds.
just wondering if anyone has tried this drive specificly?

According to anandtech.com the intel 510 is the best drive as far as real world use go. The OCZ Vetrex 3 MaxIOPS and Patriot Wildfire (which are pretty much the same drive) best the 510 by a small margin in their tests. Which one you get is simply a matter of preference. I wouldn't call the 510 slow, and if you want to avoid OCZ you may want to avoid the Wildfire also since they are both SF-2222 controller drives. However off all the SF-2222 drives the Wildfire is one of if not the best. Patriot is a smaller company so firmware updates could be less frequent.
Hope this helps.
