Some of these look strangely like some of my wife's fingernail gadgets. If it works, though, it works!

Yea there weird but can't beat it for $9
I tried a flat head screwdriver the first time I opened my laptop and now there are tiny blemishes by the keyboard. No biggie tho I fixed it with black permanent marker to match the black AW

I also used a small flat head and regretted it later on. I've got a couple of blemishes too, and the hinge cover doesn't mate up so nicely. There's a small gap on the right-hand side that I can't get to go away either. Oh well.

After you remove the screws in the bottom of the laptop to pull the hinge cover, you have to pry at the hinge cover right there by the speedometer touch button. Things can get a little hairy at this point if you use a flat head screwdriver like I did. It leaves little marks.

yea those little blems really bother me. I used a black permanent marker to cover the blems. It matches my black M17X pretty good but i still know they are there :( These tools work great by the way. Not a bad investment for like $10

    Thanks Handsomerob,

I just purchased these tools and the price is great! Actually when I initially placed the order, I was charged 9.00 for next day delivery. 30 minutes later Specialized Products Co. called me up and informed me that they were close enough to reduce my shipping cost (-4.00) and still send it out today  Now that's customer service!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing from this company based on personal experience!

The m15x doesn't really need them as you can pull the back corners with your fingers once the lcd is tilted all the way back.

I used these when I put TX-4 on my GPUs. Awesome stuff. Only complaint I have was that the cheapest shipping option was the same price as the tools themselves :/

Guys. Maybe I've been lucky, but every time I've taken mine apart all I do is remove the screws, then push the screen all the way back. After that I take a little screwdriver and insert it beneath the two curved pieces that go below the screen that are on the touch panel. All I do is lift one of those up and wallah! The touch panel comes up and pulls the side secure tabs out of place. Worked perfectly for each of my past two units. Best of all... NO SCRATCHES, NO BROKEN TABS!!!!

Next, I really do want to come up with something to support the palm rest a little more. Every time i rest my left hand down close to the speaker, the palm rest creaks and pushes the speaker vent out a little. Kinda annoying...
