... is anyone with m17x r3 able to run this game?

Doesn't matter what settings I use in game, its still unplayable.
Its almost like im playing on integrated graphics :( I know i got a somewhat low processor @ 2.0ghz, but shouldn't that be enough for this game?

Had similar issues on other games using the source engine wich SHOULD NOT be of any problem for a computer even 4-5 years old...

Anyone else having problems using 460 card?

    Core i7 2.0ghz
    8gb Ram
    GTX460 (280.26)

Per this thread, there is an issue with the version that was uploaded to steam.. I however do not know if they fixed it or not.
Perhaps you have to whitelist it for nvidia to run it vs integrated graphics?

Thanks man ! I solved it.

Both you and I was right.
Game was fully updated, BUT it was indeed running at integrated graphics, used this guide to whitelist (since I though optimus was smart enough, I never learned of this before now) Nvidia Optimus Feature on the Alienware M11x- R2 - YouTube . aaaand yea, now I can run the game fine in 1080p maxed out :)

    Cheers!
