i was playing New Vegas just a moment ago and suddenly the game became choppy and glitchy. i exited the game and saw this

the desktop is full of flickering noise now
does it mean that my sli 280 are dead now? nooooooooo

edit: after switching to 9400 all become ok, after switching to dual 280 the noise is gone - but what's f*ck is this?

that sure looks like artifacting. possibly a warning of a dying GPU. monitor for now - if it happens again, connect an external display and see if it is showing up on the external - if it does, then its the GPU(s). reboot? still there? if so, call support if under warranty.

nope the temps are ok as usual - 58C. both. there is also a cool atmo in the room so it's not a burning. maybe conflict with drivers and NV? cause the drivers are old enough lol. i think i need to update them. now it seems all ok, played NV half an hour after this happened. it's the first time i saw this glitch on R1
