So I decided to sell my M17X R1... Did a disk wipe with DBAN and reinstalled Windows 7 with the provided disk. I think it automaticly installed the product key code too. It never asked me for the code.

How do I know which drivers to reinstall? I have already been to the Dell website but it seems like there are too many drivers on their site.

What order do I reinstall them? I have found a few guides but it seems it's for Vista.

My biggest problem is now my lights don't work. I think everything else works fine.

    Here are the specs...
    Alienware M17x R1
    Black Metallic
    Intel Core2 Duo T9600 2.8GHz
    4GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1066MHz 2 x 2048MB
    1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M (NB10E-GT1)
    17.0in, WUXGA,LCD,ANW,M17X
250GB 7,200RPM (xMB Cache) w/ Free Fall Protection
    8X DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Drive,QuickSilver
