    Hello guys
I have a m17x with hd4870 and q9000 cpu, while today I just teared my laptop down and switched the graphic card to the right hand side slot, after that, I connect the power supply and try to start my laptop, but only I can get was a black screen and the cpu fan's wind blow. After I place the graphic card to the left slot, and the problem is still remains, the screen is still black, and the keyboard light is fine, and I just don't know what to do.
Please help if you know how to deal with this problem, wish you have a nice day.

    Thanks
    Robin

Try and reseat the LCD cable. Do you only have one GPU? If so than it will only work on the left hand slot. Make sure the cables are properly and firmly seated. If that doesn't work, come back and there might be other things to look at.
