Ugh this is confusing me, it has been like this for a while since yesterday, so today morning I left for work and kept my R2 on to download some files, I come back home and there was still a power blackout in the town, 15 mins later on power is back then I turn on my laptop, it had left 4% only and it still says plugged in not charging and indeed it is not charging, last night it was on 79% and not charging I thought it is ok but now this worries me, is the battery dead or not? I use my laptop with the power on all the time but the battery kicks in when I need it not to lose my work, so it is somewhat important to me.
Please help me D:

Power drain trick could help, if you haven't already tried. Turn the laptop off, disconnect everything, remove the battery, then hold the power (alienhead) button for about 30 seconds. Additionally you can reset CMOS battery.

1.) Drain the battery all the way. Recharge. See if that works. (battery conditioning)
2.) Uninstall Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery etc. Reboot.

I will try that and report back with the results

Thanks the power drain worked, held it for 40 seconds plugged the battery back in and booted up, the alienhead was glowing in multi colors indicating battery is being charged and now it is up to 11% as I type this message
