    I have read quite a bit of postings on the media keys present in r3.

    Some say its not responsive, some say the metal plate is getting lifted as you start using it etc.

    So I really would like to get a collectively accurate picture on this matter. I am sure alot of potential buys like myself would want to know the same.

    The touchpad in R3 seems to be outstanding compared to what we had in the previous iteration from Alienware . In the case of the touch button panel in R2, I would say the experience has left me wanting a much better mechanism. Touch Buttons were best implemented in the Dell Studio XPS 16. Nowhere else matched to its sensitivity. The one in R2 doesnt even have a mute button which was not a wise move and the responses were never smooth.
