So this is a possible fix for Nvidia users experiencing black screen crashes if running only on graphics card/video card being ejected error if they have hybrid graphics enabled. *BACKSTORY* 675m with a 3630QM. After about a week of hard research i've fixed an error that's been happening since I updated my Nvidia drivers. I was many patches out of date so about a little over a week I updated. Everything was fine but a little bit into gaming my computer crashed or so I thought. If I hard power down and restart it would start back up fine. I ended up repasting my graphics card and processor. With that not helping anything other than my temps it eventually dawned on me to boot with the Intel graphics to see if it was a strange driver issue and to my surprise it was. "Device "Nvidia GeForce gtx 675m" Cannot be ejected or removed" I believe that was the error it told me. After trying multiple different drivers I found one that worked. It's a bit of a strange process but I swear to god this is what I had to do.

    1. Download:
    Display Driver Uninstaller - http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
    Nvidia GTA V 350.12 Game Ready Drivers - http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/83819/en

    2. Running on only the graphics card uninstall the drivers and click delete driver software for the card in Device Manager. Restart, let the default VGA adapter install.

    3.Switch to hybrid graphics FN+F7

    4. Check Device Manager and if you see the card read out as gtx (your number here) uninstall the drivers and click delete driver software for the card. restart. Once it restarts restart it again. as soon as it`s booting hold F8 and then once the menu comes up select Safe Mode.

    5. Run Display Driver Uninstaller as administrator. Beside Select Video select NVIDIA. Click clean and restart.

    6. Once it`s restarted you should still be in hybrid mode. Open the 350.12 Nvidia driver and click custom. Install only the driver and physx while having clean install clicked as well. Let it do it`s thing.

    7. Once it`s finished switch to dedicated graphics with FN+F7. Open the driver software again and click custom. Install only the driver and physx even if it says it`s already installed. Have Clean install checked. Let it do it`s thing and voila!

I`m not quite sure what`s causing this issue but I have found many people complaining since late October. If this helps leave me a reply. I can finally delve into Fallout 4!

    Thanks for the posting!
I have a 675m on my alienware mx18 r2, and its display drive has been crashing a lot these days!
Let me try your method and see if it helps.
