Ive been noticing that my cpu usage constantly idles at around 12%-15% even though nothing is open on my desktop. I believe it used to idle at 0% until I opened something...am I just dreaming this and everything is normal? or is something sucking up my cpu usage....
One more question. What should my cpu temps be idling at/at heavy usage? My cpu is 2820qm with no overclock. Im getting about 54-64 C. However with heavy usage (benchmarking, gaming, photo editing, etc...) ive seen it hit upwards of 80-85.

    Thanks for your time :)

Not sure on temps or any of that, but check task manager to see whats using the system resources. Also download process explorer as that may help pinpoint the cpu usage. Could be an antivirus program or any number of things.

As for temps I don't quite know, but your temps are not out of hand so they are fine. Could be lower if you repasted, but it's not entirely neccessary.

I disabled the process using the services administrative tools...seems like a hassle though...
