Tonight I started messing around with nvidia inspector and noticed that there was a few gsync values in the driver profile section. These are not present anywhere when I look in nvidia control panel due to my system not supporting it.
My card is definitely a gsync model so I decided to try messing with a few of the settings. I set all visible gsync values to 0x......1 and I noticed now in Wow my frame rate is always now always locked to a super steady frame rate, never really fluctuating. When the value titled "Enable Gsync Globally" is set off my frame rate will start going up and down by small amounts(eg fluctuating between 48-51 compared to being locked at 49). My system only has the 60hz panel so no edp is required for this. I made sure all kinds of vsync are disabled so the setting is definitely doing something.
If anyone is interested I can upload some photos

No G-Sync cookie in bios no G-Sync option will enable or run, all your doing is basically enabling V-Sync.
