A few variations here even when it comes to the same CPU. The reason is because WEI is never that reliable. The only real purpose is for bragging rights. I always love to show my scores to MacBook fan boys thinking they have the greatest.

    Just for kicks:
    CPU: 7.8
    RAM: 7.9
    Graphics: 7.8
    Aero: 7.8
    HDD: 7.9

    :D

widezu and geo, clearly got me beat lol, but here is my scores:

    CPU: 7.4
    RAM: 7.5
    Graphics: 7.6
    Aero: 7.6
    HD: 7.9

might try overclocking the GPU's, haven't bothered yet, but now im curious if I can match the 580m speeds in this test. :p

Edit: Just for kicks here is my windows 8 WEI score :D

    Processor (2760QM): 7.5
    Memory: 7.9
    Graphics: 7.5
    Gaming graphics: 7.5
    Primary hard disk: 7.9

580M seems to yield less than 6990M in the graphics department but my life doesn't revolve around a few decimal points on this or any other bench. On the other hand, I'm very proud of my memory score though! :)

Or, if you enjoy high performance notebooks. But should you elect that course, the 2920xm represents the better value.

Most programs are not CPU limited and thus users will not notice any difference in performance.

Run another kind of benchmark like wPrime or the 3DMark Vantage CPU tests. In Vantage you should get around 17-18k CPU score.
