Oh wise Alienware i need your aid once more...... One day when i tried to power on my M17X R4 nothing happened when i pushed the power button, it was totalt dead......i found a solution where i detached the battery and the power supply and made a power drain (held power button 30 sec without battery and power supply in) it then Powered up without battery, but when i attached the battery again the same happened, so i used it for a while without battery, but recently bought a brand new battery, and it worked great for an week, but now i have the same issue again.???

FYI: i have also bought a brand new 240Watt Delta power supply, and some times i get the message at startup where it says i cant detect the power output of the power supply Press F1 to continue.......but its only sometimes not to often.

Hope you have some genious advice .

It seems like there may be a short in the connectors of the battery. About the PSU issue, is it a DELL adapter?

Its just strange it happens with the brand new battery also, what can i do to fix it?

It should be an original Dell charger, it was brand new but bought from a fellow Alienware owner and not directly from Dell.
