    Hello all!

Where can I get the wall to power supply cord for my Alienware 17?

Don't need the box portion itself, just the part that goes from the wall to the box.

I would like to avoid paying 90-100 bucks for the whole thing if possible.

Mine apparently was worn and sparked hard on me today when I plugged it in.

Yup. You can basically buy it from any store. The plug is universal, and also used for desktop PSU's for instance.

Stupid question but could this be bought locally or am I going to have to order it online? Is it something a target or Walmart or best buy or similar place will carry?

Hate to be mobile only for a week waiting on delivery!

By the way I was able to salvage the connector with a judicious use of electrical tape. Should be okay for a bit. I think the exposed wires just rubbed against each other and backfed some. I've got a new one on order and this should be okay for a few days until it arrives.

On a side-note maybe, you can also try: Parts-people.com or Ztronics.com
They are our most trusted third parties to get parts that are no longer sold by Dell.
