Hi, I have a cryo lx cooler hooked up via power adapter and use the hub - so when the power goes out and the cryo lx draws power from the battery, there is a power surge and the usb port and bluetooth switch off.

I was wondering if there is anyway to avoid it? Is there a specific port that can power the cryo while on battery or is that not possible?

    Thanks!
    Carthik

I am facing the same problem. Can be very frustrating at time. I plug it on my right side usb 2.0 port.

Katalin, its an R3... sorry i forgot to mention that...

Siang, yea I'm using the esata/usb port on the right cos I think thats the phone that can charge a device when the laptop is off... at least it is on my brother's toshiba, so i'm guessing it might be possible on this one as well. But I've tried the others too and it still seems to surge...

Go into BIOS, there's an option to allow USB to charge when the system doesn't have A/C power...I forget what it's named but you should be able to find it.
