    Hey guys,
recently I've noticed that when I have my M17x connected to my TV via HDMI, My card doesn't downclock properly... instead of going to 150/300 it just goes to 400/1388 ... i have it OC'd to 915/1388. I have confirmed that it only occurs when on HDMI ... also, i'm getting more BSODs on HDMI. I'm running the 13.1 driver. Any ideas?

Don't have an AMD card but for my nvidia card as soon as I output via hdmi the nvidia GPU is being used. I get a bit of instability compared to the integrated graphics. Flash tends to not like the nvidia gpu very much i dont think.

Tried running the latest BETA driver?

Yes, no change... well, except clocks go to 300/1200 ...

I think that has to do with the profile in VBIOS.
I'm pretty sure the same would be happening if you would be outputing thru VGA od Display Port.
(Could you possibly try that, just to confirm, or rule it out)

Mine does the same. The memory clocks to the stock 1200. Can't remember the core clock though. Probably the same though.

This is because the is a special profile for the card when using external display.
I had the same thing going with 5870m, the lowest possibile clock was 300/1000 i think.

Solution, i modded the VBIOS with 100/150 clocks.
