I'm just wondering if any of you nice people know what the price changes were between these? did they go up or have a flat rate? (today's being £1299 before discount)
I'm talking about a standard model, base line. I've sentenced that really poorly, but i hope you can understand what i mean.

I'm asking this due to having an offer r4 3630qm/7970m/1080p/blu ray/500gb+32gb ssd/12gb for about £1550.

Just wondering if i should just wait and buy the base r5, assuming base it shouldn't be over £1500? As my games are mainly CS:GO/WoW/LoL the odd L4D2/MW2/Need for Speed, i can only assume the r5's base gfx will run those fine.

Any thought/input would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
Using the current 7% off and free shipping I priced it for £1,412.67 (great price). Do you really need a blu-ray drive? I've used my blu-ray about 4 times in 3 years and wish I hadn't bothered. All games come on DVD or download. That would knock £90 off. Also 8GbB of RAM is enough for any game so there's another £50 saved. (can always upgrade yourself in your future). That's a really powerful laptop.

None of those games listed are that taxing on the system so a base R5 would easily play those games. It really depends on the R5 pricing but for £1,412.67 thte R4 would be a bargain!

Seems pretty good for me, I guess it just depends on you when it comes to wait or not to wait. I would wait but since there is no official release date or announcement then it might be longer than expected.

The date seems to be the 10th of June, so waiting for a week should not hurt you more !
