    Hey,

I'm new to the forums and have an Alienware M17x. I want to take screenshots of my screen, programs, gameplay, etc. How do I go about it? I see a Print Screen button next to F12, but do I press an additional set of buttons to make a screenshots and where do the images get stored?

    Thank you.

Ok, after you press print screen you then need to open up a program such as paint (All Programs/Accessories/Paint) and then click on paste in paint where the image will then appear. You can then edit/save as you require.

You can also use the snipping tool that comes with windows 7, it's really easy to use and it let's you choose what you want to take a screen shot of instead of printing the whole screen.

You can search for it in your start menu, just type snipping tool.
