Hi. I received my alienware 17 a few days ago and noticed that had lag in online games.
I tested and it seems that the problem is in the broadcom wifi card.

Has anyone had the same problem and has managed to fix it? Thanks.

I've got the wifi card and don't really experience any lag then the usual. Nothing severe or outwardly different then with my r4.

What helped here was disabling WMM in the adapter settings. Though that resulted in getting 20mbit download speed where I would normally get ~80mbit. So I am switching back and forth if I need to download something or play games.

Glad it helped, it's been a driver issue where the broadcom card keeps switching channels and dells site still has outdated drivers.
