    Problem DXDiag.exe only uses Intel HD grafics and other programs not the Nvidia

    Hello i have a problem whit my Alienware i have a intel 3820qm and Nvidia 660m when i run the dxdiag.exe ( directx test) only in the info showme the Intel HD Grafics..

    I worry the pc is not using the Nvidia i dont now..how can i do to reset the Dxdiag?

    How can i now what Gpu is using the PC? I dont have any games install..in devices manager in can see the Intel HD Grafics and the Nvidia 660m..

    Whitch is the windows score to this GPU in the evaluation test my grafics score is 6,9 is correct?

    That sounds about right to me. DX diag will always show the Intel graphics unless you disable them completely which is not possible as far as I know with the m17x r4. As to making sure all your games run on the 660m, look at the whitelisting guide in my sig for a guide on how to make your games and such run correctly on the discrete card. ;)

    Bigtonyman is right, the Directx diag will always show the intel. If you wanna test the optimus tech you can use this tool instead.

    I accidentally found out the other day that you can disable the integrated graphics by hitting the I/D GFX key on the keyboard. Pretty pointless for the nvidia setup though.
