Problem in Optiarc DVDRWBD BC-5600S

hello there :
My laptop is Alienware M17x-R1 .. it contains Optiarc DVDRWBD BC-5600S SCSI CdRom Device . It was functioning probably before whether with windows Vista or Windows7 , but all of the sudden it stopped working completely , when i put any Cd or Dvd inside it didn't read it not even recognize it , if i left it inside for ten hours it's the same; it doesn't read it .
when i D.click on the Cd or Dvd through my computer i get this message :

And i still facing this problem eventhough I format my machine and i did a recovery and nothing changed.
Knowing that the CdDrive icon is present in My computer .
When i chose to start up my format from the CD Drive it skips it and fails.

So, plz if anyone can help me or direct me to solve my big problem

 

Hi Syria_BoY,
When you insert a CD or DVD, does it attempt to spin up the disc? Usually, it's fairly audible and you can tell. Also, the chances of you needing an optical drive replacement are pretty good, being that a restore didn't resolve the issue. I would call in to support and arrange to have a technician replace it for you.
