Hey there chiefs,
Yup same problem I encountered last time. I also tried to use the dell Nvidia chipset update and it always KOs my Wireless if I install the network driver. So never again. LOL.
Cheers.

Ty, is always good to know that isnt a personal problem but its standard.
Ill just hide the update. -
Isn't that for the lan card? I have an intel 6300 wifi card installed and updated the nvidia driver from WU and have had no issues with it.
-
I do think its for the controller itself that in someway affects the wifi card (broadcom). If i install the update and from network option I disable the lan adapter, then magically the wifi cards begins to work correctly. The strange thing is that the wifi card does list correctly the wireless networks, but its not able to connect to any.

Yup thats exactly the same experience I had. I try to connect to the wifi networks and it doesn't work. So it seems that the network ethernet driver in that package screws something up with the wifi. I usually just untick the ethernet network driver update bit and install everything else with the chipset driver package.
Cheers.
