    Greetings from Denmark.

One or two times a day, sometimes more, the windows start menu just disappear. The only way I can get it back, is if I press CTRL + ALT + DELETE and close explorer and open it again, or if I restart the laptop... What a mess...

I have tryed to reinstall windows many time but with no change to the problem.

Is there anyone with the same problem or anyone knows any fix to the problem, would I be very greatfull.

    Phillip Green.

I have formatted the hard drive several times, but the problem is still there, so system restore can't help if formatting doesn't help :/

Have you tried running the PSA ? At the startup press F12 and select diagnostics and write down any errors you get.

I always had that problem when I ran the fan made Alienware screen saver. Do you happen to have that on your machine by any chance?
