As the title says, I've been having major problems with my Computer when I try to wake up my computer from Sleep mode after an extended (but relatively normal) amount of time.

It doesn't wake up. Sometimes, I'll find that the computer has shut off or it will require to restart it manually.

I've reformatted and reinstalled windows on my computer plenty of times in-case this was b/c of a virus or bad driver, but the issue doesn't go away.

The good news is that Alienware is helping me resolve this issue, but its gotten to the point where they want me to send the computer to them for repair.

Has anyone experienced this issue or are any of you experiencing this issue currently? If it was fixed, please tell me what you had to do.

    EDIT:

Should probably mention that I have a:

    M17X R1
2.4 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo
    Single GTX260m
    4 Gigs Rams
    350gig HD
    250gig HD

Mine occasionally BSOD from sleep mode. Sometimes the screen doesn't even come back on even though the computer is still running; but will come back on when I enter the password.

I'm not entirely sure why it's BSODing but it's not annoying enough atm for me to waste more time looking into it. First thing is to get the temps down! :)

There are some threads about this here, just do a search. I haven't done one yet so can't point you to them.
