    Hi guys
Sorry for my english but i'm not english ...
I have small problem with Fallout 4 and The Division Beta. Games don't use my 980M - they are starting with Intel HD4600 - I know that because when games start graphics fan almost doesn't work and processor fan starting with maximum RPM...
    I install modded drivers from
    http://downloads.eurocom.com/support/drivers/upgradeyourlaptop/Alienware/
Version 359.00 and 358.50 and still same problem.
Of course i try start both games with right button with hight performance nvidia graphic processor
After that I enter to device manager and manually turn off INTEL HD graphic but that don't help...
My card ID is 05AA1028 REV A1 and I update bios to A14

Do you have any solution ?

Some games just wont get detected by the nvidia driver. You can manually force them to in the nvidia control panel. If that doesn't work, you might have to run the games in dedicated mode. (Fn-F5 and reboot) You might have to reinstall your driver in dedicated mode because the 980m isnt actually supported by the alienware 17 R1. I run my alienware 17 R1 in dedicated graphics mode all the time anyways. The only draw-back to this is bad battery life.
    Good luck!

    https://www.techinferno.com/index.p...termarket-upgrades-driver-support-modded-inf/
I go here for my modded inf. keep in mind anything newer than 359.06 seems to have severe issues with black screens and crashing. especially with prema's vbios.
    Heres the 361.91 info https://www.techinferno.com/index.p...ort-modded-inf/&do=findComment&comment=138165
I havent tested these yet. im very happy with the 359.06 drivers. I have had zero throttling until i hit the upper temp limits with prema's vbios. I just flashed svl7's vbios tonight and so far its much much better for anyone not looking to overclock. Much lower voltage which has dropped my temps drastically.

If you need an unlocked vbios or having a throttling issue you could flash a modded vbios. Other than that I see no reason to change your current one.
