    Need some help please,

    iv got Alienware 17 r1. I bought a 970m through ebay.

The problem is I have gone though 3 motherboards in 6 months of having the card.

I don't know the make of the card but it came with prema bios.

    Nvidia 970m MXM 6gb (bios version 84.04.88.00.C1)

    card id. 10DE 13D8 1028 05AD

is the bios version correct for this card as results are saying it belongs to 980m.

in all instances the motherboard is heating up by the HDMI port on the left when playing heavy load games

Any help on this matter would be great.

    My specs

    4910mq
    32gig ram
    60hz screen

    Cheers
