    Hi,

I am trying to replace the default dell drivers with catalyst 11.5.
I have uninstalled the old Dell drivers, and I ran Ccleaner to get rid of old trash after uninstalling.

When trying to install the new 11.5 drivers, I get these errors (se pics)

    Thanks in advance.

You need to install the Dell drivers first, then install the 11.5b hotfix drivers over them. If you don't, you won't be able to switch between your GPU and IGP.

    Thanks for the fast reply.
I do not have an IGP. This is regarding the r2.

    D'oh. Well, you'll need to use 11.5b Hotfix, it has 5870m support. 11.5 doesn't.

    He has an R2.

What you need to do first is be sure that you have the latest V-bios installed. It is A-01, and in gpu-z it shows as 012.020.000.027.037640.

If is not flashed, you have to install dell drivers first, flash the v-bios for both cards and after that you are free to use AMD reference drivers.

11.5b RC5 hotfix is the latest afaik and it is common for desktop&mobile cards.
