    Hello!

I have problems with new AMD 7970m on my Alienware M17x R3 from Eurocom (BIOS A12, Windows 8). It worked fine for over a day (played Rage, Fallout 3 with maxed graphics for couple of ours), but then I decided to switch to integrated video. It switched ok, but when I decided to switch back system freeze and discrete graphics stopped detecting in bios. My previous card 6970 also stopped working. So I am stuck with integrated video.

I have tried reseating gpu card, reseating ram, re-flashing bios, reseting bios. Couple of times. Still not detecting.

Please, may anybody suggest what should I try?

Have you uninstalled the integrated graphics drivers between installations? DriverSweeper? Why did you need to run the card on dedicated? Enduro should be working properly now.

I thought intergrated GPU had to be disabled, with the 7970m in the M17x R3.

Every attempt I had at installing both failed.
