I'll get you some if I find some here in the UK. It is quite pricey.

Chaos, what can you get locally? Sounds like getting a tube of PK-1 is going to be more trouble than its worth

SlickDude, i can get artic silver mx 4 for around $40 on ebay global easy buy (on amazon it is $12).. man ebay really is a place to get ripped off!!

on ebay the retailers themselves order from amazon.com or newegg and then sell it to us..

Locally, i can only get colgate toothpaste!! :p (seriously, i read somewhere that it works!)

Oh i want the 30g pack btw..

US- Amazon.com: Prolimatech Nano Aluminium Thermal Compound 30g: Electronics

even if shipping is around 10-15 bucks i will still save a lot of money as compared to buying from india..

so anyone from US willing to help? tell me how much it will cost and i will pay you the money. No hassle.

    Or

    widezu-
    you can order from here
    Prolima Tech - Thermal Paste - Nano Aluminum - PK-1 - 30g: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

and same as above you can let me know the amount i have to pay and i will do it immediately!!

And thanks a lot guys for the positive response.. +1 to nbr :D

let me try to figure out shipping cost, can you write here your zip code and city and well, just the whole address :) I will try to check UPS, is that ok with you? I guess that would be the cheapest option from US.. I wouldn't try with USPS (it is definitely cheaper, but the chances it will get lost, is bigger than it will arrive :D)

To be honest though, why the trouble? What paste do you have at the moment?

    i have ic diamond 24..

the trouble(reason) basically is well i just want to put the best stuff in my laptop! i am sure you know the feeling.. :)

i have already tried icd 24 once.. my temps went up and my laptop started acting up..

now i have a cpu and gpu replacement pending for tomorrow and my cpu and gpu heatsinks have already been replaced..

also after learning that icd 24 has a bad "scratching" effect from you guys i am reluctant to put it in again..

that is why i am looking to get my hands on the best stuff i possibly can..

here is my aim for the laptop:

make sure it never throttles (right now it hits 77C within 200 seconds of furmark)

to that end, i have ordered thermal pads from frozencpu
and am now looking for the best paste.
if that doesnt solve it i will modify my cryo lx with scythe fans.

(frozen cpu and memorypc should take care of all of these requirements)

thanks to teksavvy for telling me about memorypc which has 30gm pk 1

I see, well I use ICD24 and temps are really good. Also I repaste regularly so the scratching isn't so bad. Each to his own I guess. Good luck.
