Purolator lost my box!

I just need to vent some frustation.. not very informative thread! sorry

Ordered an Alienware M17X.. and a AW Backpack.. DELL decided to ship the bag first and the M17 is suppose to ship next week...

well.. they lost the backpack.. not sure where it is.. the skank at the phone customer support told me it was available and there for pickup which is false and the other skank at the warehouse told me that their own phone customer support suck..

what a wonderfull experience, i can't wait for them to loose my M17X next week! i wonder if they never find the damn thing.. if DELL gonna do something about it

 

don't worry your laptop will arrive just fine, it would have been infinitely times worse if they lost the laptop but the bag arrived safely also they will send you another bag right? say you will be using the laptop on the go from the start and need the bag asap, they will overnight it I am sure

EDIT: btw congratz doc! I am sure you will enjoying your beast in no time add me in BF3, my account is bardvampire (*&#% this origin's no change of name...)

i have no freaking idea my friend.. didnt noticed any remark or option about being insured.. but im sure as hell shaking in my boots for the M17x shipping..

 

It should be alright. Mine went from china, to Texas, then all the way up here to Alaska. Not a scratch or dent in the process Just be patient and I'm sure it will arrive safely.

And no, people should not have to "get used to it". Maybe when someone offers you a free English lesson you should thank them instead of justify yourself with more butchering of the language.

I am taking the free english lesson as a way to improve! Get used to it mean that its possible for me to make more mistake being not my first language. If you dont have anything new regarding a lost shippment, your are more than welcome to not post in my thread!

 

people just chill, this is not an english literature class, this is just a multinational forum and a lot of people doesn't speak some languages correct (I am not good at english either) and let's take it easy, as long as you understand what he means, isn't that ok?

Doc has no time for games. he has to first spend 2-3 weeks with his gf watching American Idol, to show her how appreciative he is with her letting him buy this laptop. Then maybe after a few weeks, SKYRIM is going on! Ya baby!

These last few days, there was the beta of starwars the old republic (released in december). Skyrim may be the first to enter the M17X.. and Batman ARkham City too.. my steam account is full of goodness, I just suffer from a lack of time.

EDIT: the first game i plan on using is probably called "how to play without throttling v1.0".. fun game! you got a few quests where you go post problems on forums

 

just beware with SKYRIM...it will suck you in. And before you know it, nothing else matters

 

true... luckily I got bf3 in between right now which gave me a break from this addiction

 

what is the most graphically demending game out there right now ? something that can truly tests a new pc.. ?

 

crysis 2 / witcher 2 / metro 2033 / crysis & crysis warhead

bf3 looks as good as these but I think frostbite 2 is a ridiculously optimized engine so it works wonders in maxed settings, but still I think the best is cryengine 3 out there, seriously some videos on youtube demonstrating cryengine 3 are just plain simple crazy...

 

Metro 2033 is the most demanding of them all. But this game will bring the R3 down to its knees. I'd suggest taking your results with a grain of salt on this game

 

I wonder how my system would run Metro 2033. May have to test it some.

 

Bro, your laptop is way too slow to run metro 2033... Don't even bother getting it unless you like slideshows

 

i hope it can run the heavy graphic of Minecraft

 

my 460m ran it no problem so your higher end card should run it flawlessly

with 2 papers notices on my door to pick it up at the warehouse after 18h pm, the package never made it to the warehouse and was sent back to DELL before i could get my hand on it. DELL is supposed to ship another one soon.
