How many users still experience performance problems with the 780m of your system. Also what are the possible fixes?

    - Example being the throttling problem?

Edit* I will be receiving mine soon and I want to know what I have to do "out of the box" to get it running tip top. As seen in my sig.

If you read the alienware 17 owners lounge thread, there oodles of information in there, lately seems like a lot of people have the issue fix with downloading nvidia precision(?) and raising the GPU throttling temp limit. I'm patiently waiting my arrival.....ETA is tuesday but says its still in production :(. I ordered mine on July 25th.

Yeah they are on backorder. And yes I've read there I was just seeing if I could get quick fixes. Also I thought it was evga precision x that was used to raise the throttle limit? Am I correct

I've seen that solution to the throttle problems. The lounge will have way more info for you on this and many other things.

As said, I've read up on some. I just wanted a mash up or a simple guide to what other users had found.

I've found using nvidia inspector and just hitting apply defaults works to remove the throttle. Max temp I saw on my 780m so far after about 2 hours of bf3 and tomb raider was 78c. Seems pretty stable no throttling
