I just got my 1866mhz kingston hyperx pnp 4GB X 2 Ram cards, and to be honest you all of you I do not see any difference coming from my 4gb x2 Ram cards running at 1066 mhz.
What Im I suposed to be looking for performance wise? Because until now it doesnt seem to be worth the investment ($150). I dont see any changes in performance.

The only thing I noticed is my Windows experience index go up from 7.5 to 7.9, but still those are just numbers and dont really mean much to me.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, I am planning on returning these Ram cards tomorrow unless someone can prove me wrong :)

Unless you run applications that are very ram-intensive, which are few, you won't see a noticeable performance hike. Your money would be better suited to investing in an ssd; that will definitely increase the snappiness of your system.

1600 speed would have been plenty. 1866 is overkill. Agree with KB above, money towards SSD would be be better spent.

you will only find a little boost, like KB said unless your running programs that need RAM, you will only see a small difference. It would of been better going for 16GB of 1600 ram instead of the 8gb of 1866 ram for the future, even that is kinda over the top
