Hi guys, in 9 days i will place my order for a m17x R2.

Since i'll be buying a 920xm chip from ebay i'm going with a i7-620m as a starting cpu.

Will i have to worry about the fact that the 620m has a 1066 Mhz support for memory? I mean, when the 920xm will arrive, will i have 1333 or 1066 Mhz memory installed from dell?

A memory upgrade is already planned, but not my first priority. First i'll get the 920xm, second the ssd disc and then the memory.

It honestly doesn't matter. I went from 4GB of that Elpida crap to 4GB of Kingston HyperX to 8GB of G.Skill. You won't notice any kind of performance difference. Just make sure you've got at least 4GB of something in there. And just for the record, Dell is going to install the cheapest, slowest crap they possibly can. They're a business out to make a profit.
