I got a R1 with gtx 260m and i want to upgrade it to the ati 4870 cause i saw that it dsnt support the 5870's ... my question is if the 4870 use the same fan or heatsink as the gtx 260 ... or i'll have to buy new ones?

Where are you buying them from? If it's Dell, they come with HS's, AFAIK. Same fans.
On a side note, there might be a way for 5870's to work as well. You should check the latest BIOS .txt file.
