    Hello All,

I'm sure i'm not the first person to ask this question - did search through the forums and unfortunately couldn't find anything specifically the way i was asking this so my apologies if this has been covered.

I'm looking to buy my m17x tonight potentially - however i'm running into a bit of a problem with the configuration options...

Easy question over all i suppose - Should i get the increased resolution monitor, or upgrade the video card? Unfortunately finances dictate that i cant do both - My gut is telling me to go with the monitor. Can anyone validate this?

My typical uses - General video watching, Starcraft 2, World of Warcraft, Knights of the Republic when it comes out, Battlefield 2 (3 when it comes out) - What are the general thoughts?

See, this is an interesting dilema. To be honest, I'd have a hard time not getting both. Possibly try calling Dell to get a discount to get both? If your going to be heavily gaming, the GPU. If its more for media, then the 1080p screen.

    Monitor!

I thought this too, that I should get the lower res one, so I can get higher FPS.
    Big mistake....

The 1600x900 screen looks like sh@#$. Worst screen ever, no lie.

See, to me, power is more important than res, since I have an AMAZING external FHD monitor if I need it, therefore, my M15x is 900p. G|However, the 900p M15x screen is great looking, very bright, where as the M17x's isn't that great.
