Well, it looks like I somehow got NVidia Forceware Network Access Manager installed on my on my M17x R1 -- likely through installing some nVidia forceware drivers. Apparently, it is some sort of firewall. I would like to uninstall it, however, when I last tried it, I no longer had internet access, likely because I need to now reinstall the ethernet driver.

So, my question is this...what version of nForce are we running in these M17x R1 machines? What the heck drivers should I be installing for the ethernet card? Am I going down the wrong road here for drivers?

UPDATE: I determined that I recently installed something from Microsoft that udpated nVidia forceware and it was causing the issue here. Weird. Did a restore to get back to before I installed it.
