The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Question regarding driver installation order

    When doing a fresh install of win 8.1 I installed all of my drivers but installed windows updates before I installed the Alienware OSD and Command Center drivers. Looking around the forums I see that there is a recommended driver install order for doing a fresh install of windows on Alienware systems. They install all device drivers before windows updates, if I installed these two drivers after installing all of the windows updates is this ok?
