    Does anyone have this SKU? I ordered it.. My questions are :

    1. Does it have a Full Hd Display.?

    2. It has Liteon 256gb ssd is it Sata 3 what are its read and write speeds?

    3. Which wifi + bluetooth card it uses? is it bigfoot killer or stock intel?

    4 Does all M17xr4 skus including this one come with Alienware Windows 8/recovery disks+ utility disks?

    please reply me soon guys for those who have this Sku

    1. Yes it has a full HD display. Source: AMAZON
    2. IT is not the best SSD around but better then HDD for sure. But also not worth the money. Better will be you buy with an HDD and put better SSDs in later. Source: Another thread on NBR.
    3. SKUs generally have Intel cards. If it includes Killer one that they mention it.
    4. It totally depends upon the seller but Dell does ship these with all SKU builds. Source: Alienware Chat

    thank you for the info...how to give a rep+ really want to though....some additional questions though....my sku did nt come with Windows 8 dvd :( also no COA so how??

    and it has the windows 8 64 bit installed in 256 gb ssd which i want to remove and sell off and add probably 2x750gb momnetus xt or 2x1tb HGST 7200rpm HDD...so is there a way i can keep my windows 8 backed up and save the settings and so on how to do it? does alienware have a process for that or can i use acronis software?

    You can give rep by clicking on the 6 spike star below a post.
    And as for the recovery disk thing, create a system image using AlienRespawn software and you can use that disk to install the whole os and feel to your momentus HDD. But as a security do take a backup on something first because although this works everytime and worked for me too but its still better to be careful.

    rep added :) BTw so if i do with Alienware respawn no cd key is needed when i restore to my hdds?.. The thing i want to do is ..after backing up the image from my 256 ssd i want to remove my 256 gb ssd completely from the my m17x and put 2 new HDDs and restore the image ....so can i do? with alienware respawn? as no cd key i have for W8 and no DVD also this will not be a clean install
