    Hi all,

I wasn't sure if this should go in the selling section or here so I'll just post it here as I am not actually selling, just questioning at the moment.

I've up upgraded my laptop with 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD, i7 920XM and Windows 8 and was wondering what price this could go for as I am looking to sell this and get a new laptop.

The only problem I have with this laptop is the DVD drive doesn't work, but I bought an external DVD drive that I can throw in with this.

    Thanks in advance :),
    Charlie

    EDIT:

The graphics card is an ATI 5870m and there is a 2nd 500GB HDD inside too

I would say have a look around ebay to get a price to sell it in your location .

Sorry, completely missed the point of the thread as I was typing it lol. I was looking for an average price that I could sell this for.

I've looked on ebay and prices are ranging from £600 - £1000 so I'm thinking around £750 maybe?

£750 is a good price for that. In the U.S I would pay around 1200-1300 for it. :) It has some cool upgrades.

I would say go for a more top end price the I7 920 XM is not a cheap CPU to buy . It's still very expensive Intel i7 920 XM CPU | eBay

What GPU does your laptop have ?

Only reason I was thinking about 750 is because the shipping for it might be quite a lot as well. So all in all it might cost around £800-850.

    It has an ATI 5870

I've done some upgrades to my R2 and wondering if I should move back to a desktop, since I never use the portability of it.

Other things to consider in determining a price:
    • One 5870M, or Crossfire?
    • Standard 1600x900(?) Screen or 1920x1200 RGB-LED?
    • ES/QS XM or OEM?
