I am looking to upgrade my M17x R2 to a 256GB Solid State Hard Drive, but I have a couple of questions before I do this.
    (1) Can I add the SSD and keep my drive that I have now? Is there space to do that, internally?
    (2) Where is the best place to get an SSD from?

    Any advice would be appreciated?

    Thanks.

first check your system to see if it has the 2nd hdd caddy along with the interposer. if not you'll have to order it so you can use your original hdd along with the ssd.

newegg is a popular place for ssd but search around for good deals.
