    Hello,

While going through my mail I recieved an e-mail about a deal on this SSD drive
SanDisk Extreme SDSSDX-240G-G25 2.5" 240GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - Newegg.com

I've been thinking about getting a SSD drive for my M17x R2 for a while and it looks like it should fit I just thought I would ask the experts before I impulse buy. Looks like a good deal and don't want to miss it.

Also my comp didn't come with a second drive and if I remember correctly I saw someone once mention you had to get a drive holder and some kind of adapter for a second drive. Can anyone give me info on this?

    Thanks for the help.

Yes it will work fine, and yes you need an adapter for the 2nd drive. You can get it by contacting DELL sales or online.

If you had the original box, they have the interposer included in the box.

I would imagine the origional box should be with it.

My concern at this point isn't the installation it is the setup. I was going to open a new thread on this but I will try here hopefully someone can give me some advice.

So in prep for this I downloaded Alienrespawn because it wasn't already on my comp. I did have a recovery partition however. After I installed it my D drive no longer shows up in my comp and I can't seem to navigate to it in any way but it does show up in disk management. Did AR delete the mapping? I also created an alien respawn thumb drive since apparently my origionals were damaged in a storage fire however the thumb drive only sees about 400 mb in use. Not sure if this is normal.

So I questions are 2 for the factor recovery partition do I just need to remap it for windows to recognize it? And is it normal for a respawn recovery to only be 400 mb? Thanks for any help.
