What's the point of the Wireless HD
And also the wireless cards, was the difference? Better Range? Faster Connection?

Wireless HD lets you stream whatever is on your laptop screen to a HDTV. If the HDTV supports the wireless protocol natively, then nothing else is needed. Otherwise you need the kit from Dell (or where ever) which is basically a receiver box that you connect via HDMI to your HDTV, and which receives the HD signal transmitted from the laptop.
Why would you want this? To play games on a big screen HDTV, of course! If you don't have a set-top box (like the Roku or AppleTV) you can also use this to stream Netflix or Hulu to your HDTV via your laptop. My wife and I do this all the time, but without the wireless HD we have to physically connect the laptop to the HDTV, which gets old. -

The differences between the wireless cards is highly dependent on the hardware you connect to. The 2x2 and 3x3 cards will give you higher bandwidth, provided the router or other network hardware you connect to support them. Otherwise the default card is still a great choice!

I've got a Netgear wndr3700 sow which do you suggest?

So the stock wireless card uses only 2 antennae? Can anyone please confirm that our R3s already has a 3rd wire somewhere inside for the 3x3 cards? (I've no idea what to look for)

Hope that helps! -
Should i just go with the standard one?
