Well as the title asks, Can it be done? if so where would i find an R2 1200P display secondly, I still have yet to find a place that sells gTX 770ms :< I'd prefer the 770m over the 780m but if i can get a 780m for a good price i'll def take it.

Different aspect ratio is one of the biggest barriers, so a NO GO

    1200P is 16:10
    Full HD crap is 16:9

    plus a different connector...

Oh look only ONE OF THEM SHIP TO AUSTRALIA, Did you simply just assume i was an american.

Firstly there are only two results on ebay.com .au And secondly both are refurbs and don't offer returns on doa items unless proven to be installed by a dell tech.

And THIRDLY neither of those two results on AUSTRALIAN ebay were up at the time of this posting, [removed obnoxious commentary]

Al song as you will not treat it with ESD, not flex the PCB too much, buy from a trusted seller and with a solid warranty you should not worry about that.
MXM cards are touch sensitive like womens..... so be a GTM

You stated you could not find any 770m's on eBay. You didn't say "I cant find any sellers on eBay that will ship a 770m to Australia". People were correctly responding to the question you asked. Ask the right question if you want the right answer.

    And... Raylene...

Since the majority of posters on this forum are from the US and that you didn't state your location on your profile nor in any of your posts beforehand, it was reasonable to assume you were from the US. Your response to someone trying to help you set the tone of the thread.

A word of advice, search alibaba.com for other potential vendors. Also, on ebay, some sellers might be willing to ship to you if you ask them nicely and walk them through the steps on how to ship outside the US.

As long as you follow the guide (search on google), have vBIOS 015.021 and 1mm pads it shouldn't be such a big problem. Don't forget to switch to PEG though. getting SG work is where the issues are.

Also don't forget you need a new X bracket it doesn't come with the card most of the time. I had to get mine of my old dead card by using a hairdryer and a super small flat screwdriver. It burned my hands a little but it looks like a new x bracket as long as you take the time.
