What is the latest version for 5870 CF drivers?
One of my friend has ATI cards and I have no idea on it.
Any BF3 drivers out for ATI?
Any link would be helpful too?

Speaking of the latest ATI drivers i just rolled back from last months to stock dell. I have lotro on my R2 (cf 5870's) and I noticed that i wasnt getting any heat from the right card.

I had so do some research and found that CF was not engaging in that game. So i changed the preferences.ini file to force CF.

The game then engaged the second card but the performance declined. The game went from smooth to studdering.

So i rolled back to dell stock drivers and i now have CF and no studdering.

So any ideas why 1yr old dell drivers run CF smoothly and the latest ATI drivers dont?

With ATI i feel you always have to keep track of which driver worked best on certain game, with every new driver they fix performance for new released games but screw every thing else up on the way. But regardless, always make sure when you install the new drivers you also install the new caps (Catalyst Application Profiles) which is meant to improve crossfire performance in certain games.

P.S If you have twitter you can follow @CatalystCreator to receive news on every new cap and driver and preview drivers as well. For example i think they are up to 11.10 Preview 3. Check them out.

I really have not had this problem, and I often do go back to playing older games from a few years back.
