Hey guys/gals. I was an original m15x "beta tester" so I am not a complete noob. To clarify "beta tester" I had to run all the tests to deal with the original issues that the early adopters had to contend with such as the overheating/throttling, cracked hinges, etc. So I had the programs I needed and did what I had to do in order to get the M15x in fighting shape.

Tomorrow I am getting my first notebook CF system. My last round with a dual card set up was with a desktop. That was long ago with 7800 GT SLI. I have never had an ATI card CF system.

With that my specs are 920 and 5870 CF. So I need to DL throttlestop? What is the "CCC?"

Whats the easiest way to determine if I am running up to date ATI drivers/Bios?

Any basic tips would be appreciates so I can get my system running so I can start benching and installing my games. Thanks all.
