I had 1900x1200 WUXGA display. They just replaced it and now all I can get is 1400x900.

its coming up in device manager as a generic monitor. I don't remember what it was before.

any idea's or did they install the wrong display?

    Thanks Kelly

No. The LCD declares its maximum resolution to the system, not the BIOS.

replaced the monitor yesterday and I got my 1900x1200 back. Now I have one stuck pixel. I got another year of warranty so I guess I will just keep an eye on it.

    Thanks for the help again.

If you do get more stuck pixels please let me know, I'll make sure to help.
You might find it easier sending me an email with the right part number; I will just double check the part and create the replacement.
Just keep it in mind, here is the email: AWSocialMedia at dell.com , make sure you add my name to it.
